Summary of the meeting held between the AIGETOA team, comprising of Circle Secretary and Sri.K.Srinivasa Rao, Chairman, and the CGMT on 14.06.2024 on the intra-circle transfers.

1. Transfer Policy Revision: The AIGETOA team proposed a revision of the transfer policy, suggesting that transfers be based on a Year wise long stay instead of the current criterion of 15% of sanctioned strength.
2. Employee Concerns: The team raised concerns regarding the impact of transfers on employees’ children’s education, emphasizing the need for a more predictable and stable transfer policy.

CGMT’s Response:
The CGMT acknowledged the concerns and provided the following assurances:
• Policy Adjustment: The transfer policy will be considered for revision to incorporate a year-wise long stay criterion rather than the 15% sanctioned strength.
• Timely Transfers: Transfers will be processed and given before the end of this month to minimize disruption to employees’ family lives.
• Association Consultation: Before finalizing and issuing transfer orders, the CGMT assured that there would be a discussion with the AIGETOA association to ensure transparency and address any remaining concerns.
